RESEARCH INTERESTS

[Subject of research]

Lab members are currently performing multidisciplinary researches on the development of new concept materials and strategies to control infectious diseases using following genetic materials or nano-sized materials:

  • Functions and mechanisms of bacterial small noncoding RNAs (sRNAs)

  • Biogenesis of Outermembrane vesicles (OMVs) and their use in the development of  vaccine platforms

  • Development of a new nano-antibacterial platforms

  • Discovery of  trans-acting regulatory factors for RNase activity
